TAB Melbourne Cup Day to welcome back limited Crowds
After yesterday’s announcement that racing will return to Thoroughbred Park on TAB Melbourne Cup Day – Tuesday 2 November, the Canberra Racing Club is happy to announce that it will welcome back crowds of an initial 500 patrons. The Club will continue to work closely with ACT Health with the goal of increasing this number prior to the day with further ticket releases advised accordingly.
A priority booking window for Members will be open immediately until 9am Monday 25 October. A Member can book for one of the below areas by calling (02) 6204 0000.
Pricing for Members Areas are as follows:
Black Opal Room - $10 per person
Silks Room including a two-course meal - $40 per person
Betting Ring/Winning Post Bar - $10 per person
The St. Covet Row Marquee will be available for Owners from 12 noon on acceptance day (Friday 29 October) for $10.
All patrons who have purchased tickets at a cost of $10 will be provided with a $10 food and beverage voucher upon arrival to reimburse their purchase price.
Due to such limited numbers Members are not able to book for a guest (unless they possess a Members Guest Card). New membership applications along with renewals are welcome.
The Members only booking period will cease at 9am Monday 25 October at which time any remaining tickets in Silks or the Betting Ring / Winning Post Bar areas will become open to the public at a cost of $40 or $25 respectively.
