Rob Potter raises money for Dementia Australia at stable open day

Local Trainer Rob Potter hosted an open day for his stable last weekend with his owners and their families enjoying some sunshine and good food, while raising money for a worthy cause.

Around 100 of Potter's owners descended on Thoroughbred Park last Sunday with Potter parading some new additions to his stable as well as some of his old favourites and Potter was buoyed by the turnout.

"It was great to get our community of owners together for a great afternoon supporting a great cause." Potter said.

"We raised over $2,200 for Dementia Australia which really speaks for the generosity of my loyal owners so I'm very thankful to them."

"Owners are of the upmost importance to me and the whole industry so it was great to get them here to show them how well their horses are looked after and how highly we prioritise their care."

It's an exciting time for Potter's stable with a number of up-and-coming gallopers hitting the scene.

Encantado, Missile Maiden, Tavalo, Dreaming of Vegas and I'm Not Leaving are all exciting young Potter-trained gallopers to keep an eye on.
