The CBR Fair is ready to flourish on Sunday 1 March 2020 at Thoroughbred Park, as we celebrate 10 years in the nation's capital.
Previously known as the Canberra Wedding Fair, new owner Danielle Cleary of Danielle Cleary Events says she will “present a collaboration of new ideas & concepts, incorporating some of Canberra & the surrounding regions market leaders in Weddings, Events, Travel & Lifestyle, in an immersive, holistic & experiential journey”.
Drawing on the Fair’s experienced premier partners of designers, stylists, creative's & promoters, the CBR Fair will be an exclusive showcase of brands we know intimately and trust. Bringing their creative visions to life is Marley May Event Styling & Your Event Solution – YES Southern Highlands their hire experts, devoted to delivering stunning marquees, elegant furnishings & luxury decor to welcome guests into the heart of the Fair.
Designed to help guests create their perfect occasion, guests will be invited to explore, experience & shop catering culinary delights, pop up cart treats, photographic galleries, venues, fashion and beauty trends, entertainment, travel and lifestyle.
The free entry Foodie Fair, co hosted with Eat Canberra, will tantalise your taste buds, have you grooving to live music by the Rich Pitcher Band, intrigued by balloon twister magic and bring out your inner child with a big white jumping castle in the park!
Jemma Mrdak, fashion and lifestyle blogger of a Stylish Moment will introduce the Fairs two fashion runway presentations, featuring local Canberra women who showcase on a world stage.
Liz Bomben, Creative Director of Global Hair and Makeup is an international celebrity makeup artist who resides between Australia, USA and Europe alongside 121 Hair will style the Model Talent Team. Parades will feature bridal, event, travel and lifestyle attire from national and local designers and boutiques including The Sposa Group Australia, Sarah Joseph Couture, Lucy Laurita Designer, Momento Dezigns, Blades Menswear, Simone Perele, Christine Waring Millinery & more.
Royalty, opulence and French Parisian chic are just a few of the feeling evoked when glancing at bridal and racewear crowns and headpieces hand created by Viktoria Novak. Viktoria is the Fairs special guest and will adorn the runway models in both bridal and race designs – perfect for guests to be inspired for their upcoming event and our venue host Thoroughbred Park’s upcoming Canberra Racing Carnival.
