Canberrans welcomed into the $2m Kosciuszko

The Canberra Racing Club, in partnership with Racing NSW, are delighted to announce that ACT residents will be able to participate in the sweepstakes for the $2m Kosciuszko for the first time in 2026!

Canberra Racing Club Chief Executive Darren Pearce said, “We are delighted that ACT residents will be able to participate in this year’s $2m Kosciuszko and thank Racing NSW for embracing the idea.”

“The Kosciuszko is amongst Racing NSW’s most innovative and important races of the year and offers the hardworking participants from the country their chance to shine on the biggest stage.”

“Our trainers dream of winning this race and we are an important part of the NSW & ACT racing ecosystem so it’s great that our members and community are now eligible to draw a winning ticket and potentially pick their local hero.”

“It’s been 7 years since a Canberra trained horse won the Kosciuszko when Handle the Truth saluted and we are thrilled that ACT residents can go now go on the journey with a local hope and potentially share in the winnings.”

“We know that Gratz Vella is excited about Music Time returning and Canberra should play a strong hand in this year’s edition.”

“I’m sure Canberrans will get right behind it and hopefully we can see a couple of lucky winners and horses from the Nation’s Capital in the 2026 Kosciuszko.”

Ticket sales are available on the TAB app for eligible customers and in TAB venues from 1 July.
