Canberra Racing Club's Offer to Firefighters

This past summer our beautiful region saw devastating fires, debilitating smoke and disastrous storms. Through these catastrophes however, we saw the best of our communities. Significant levels of financial donations, local businesses collecting and distributing needed goods and many examples of heroism. The community as a whole should be immensely proud of itself for its response in the face of these disasters, non-more so then our heroic firefighters.

The Canberra Racing Club would like to extend a small token of gratitude to all firefighters, both paid and volunteer, by shouting their first drink at the Affinity Electrical Technologies Canberra Mile. Firefighters can present themselves to Canberra Racing Club administration office on the day to verify and collect a $10 voucher.

The Affinity Electrical Technologies Canberra Mile at Thoroughbred Park is a chance for Canberra and surrounds to relax and enjoy after this difficult summer. With free entry, live music from 5pm, a jumping castle and face painting for the kids, the twilight event shapes as the perfect Friday afternoon with the family or with friends.

Race 1 is set to jump at 2:10pm with the last at 7:04pm.
