Canberra Racing announces 2025/2026 race days
The Canberra Racing Club is excited to unveil its race day calendar for the 2025/2026 racing season, featuring 25 dynamic meetings that bring together top-quality racing, community celebrations, and signature events at Thoroughbred Park.
John McGrath Auto Group Black Opal Stakes Race Day will again highlight the Canberra Day long-weekend on Sunday, 8 March 2026 while the Canberra Community Chest, supported by Affinity Electrical Technologies, will be held on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
The ever-growing Hops & Hooves Festival returns to AFL Grand Final Day on Saturday, 27 September and will be the place to be to watch the big game, enjoy great live racing as well as good food & drinks.
The Club will partner with the Australian Masters Games to deliver a special race day on Friday, 24 October. Thousands of participants from around Australia will descend on Canberra in October for the games with over 45 sports represented.
The partnership will see many of these participants head to Thoroughbred Park for a fun day trackside, with the race day a part of the official schedule for the games.
