17 September 2021 Race Meeting Transferred to Queanbeyan
The Canberra Racing Club has today announced that the race meeting scheduled for Friday 17 September 2021 has been transferred to Queanbeyan. Nominations for this meeting are due to close at 11am Monday 13 September 2021.
The Club is grateful to be able to provide an income for local participants and thanks Racing NSW and the Queanbeyan Racing Club for their support during these unprecedented times.
Canberra Racing Club Chief Executive Officer Andrew Clark said “While we wish we were racing at Thoroughbred Park next Friday, I am delighted that we have been able to work collaboratively with Racing NSW and the Queanbeyan Racing Club to provide some much needed racing for our local participants.”
“We are hopeful that we will be able to race our next meeting, scheduled for Saturday 25 September, at Thoroughbred Park but if unable we will again look to work in closely with Racing NSW and the Queanbeyan Racing Club.”
A decision on the race meeting scheduled for Saturday 25 September 2021 will be advised on Friday 17 September 2021.
The amended race program for the Canberra Friday 17 September 2021 to be held at Queanbeyan is as follows:
Federal Benchmark 75 – 1200m
Benchmark 65 – 2000m
Benchmark 60 – 1460m
Benchmark 60 – 1000m
Class 1 – 1200m
Class 1 & Maiden Plate – 1600m
Maiden Plate – 1200m
Maiden Handicap – 1000m
