Single Gaze on track for this Saturday

Star Canberra mare Single Gaze has jumped out again at Caulfield and trainer Nick Olive says she’s ready for her first-up spring assignment en route to the Caulfield Cup.

Olive says Single Gaze has improved considerably in the two weeks she’s been in Melbourne and will race in Saturday’s Memsie Stakes where she’s been posted at $50 in the early markets.

The Team Hayes-trained Vega Magic is currently $3.8 favourite for the Memsie with Black Heart Bart ($6.5) on the second line.

On Tuesday Single Gaze jumped-out over 1800m with some local gallopers and has had no trouble with the Melbourne way of going.
