Four Victorian Nominations For Sunday’s Canberra Cup

Four Victorian stables have nominated runners for Sunday’s $200,000 Canberra Cup (2000m).


They are Lee & Anthony Freedman’s Cool Chap, Cindy Alderson’s O’Lonero, Survived from the Archie Alexander stable and Red Alto — Paul Banks.   


Twenty-two nominations have been received for the Cup including last start winners Classic Uniform (Gary Moore) and Dark Eyes (Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bolt).


Chris Waller has nominated Montauk, while Red Excitement heads the handicap ratings for Gerald Ryan.       


Rose’s Song (Steven O’Brien ) and Siberian Rose (Peter Wiggins) are the two Canberra-trained nominations.
