Susan has been an integral member of the Administration team and implemented the Ticketek system for membership and major race day events. We wish her the best of luck.

PRIZE MONEY

In another positive step for the Canberra Racing Club and participants, prize money for races held in Canberra will increase from $15,000 to $16,000 from 12 September for all races currently paid at $15,000 or below.

The prize money break up for $16,000 races is: 1st $10,000; 2nd $3,200; 3rd $1,600 4th $800 5th $400.

The break up of prize money provides for the payment of $400 for fifth place, at the previous prize money levels prize money was only paid to fourth place. The increase is consistent with the Committee’s commitment of improving returns to race horse owners.
