Bring A Secret Top Weight For Rich Anniversary Highway

Canberra stables will play a strong hand in Saturday’s $200,000 TAB Anniversary Highway 1400m at Royal Randwick.

Nominations for race were so numerous that the Australian Turf Club took the decision to run an additional race on the Everest Day program — a $100,000 TAB Highway Consolation 1400m.

The Nick Olive trained Bring A Secret is top weight in the $200,000 feature coming off a dominant win in the Tony Campbell Memorial at Canberra.

Other Canberra gallopers sure to get a start are Le Cavalier (Norm Gardner), and Darts Away (Barbara Joseph-Paul Jones).

The Joseph-Jones pair Rock On Zariz and Mercurial Lad are 2nd and 3rd emergencies for the Anniversary, and are more likely to take their place in the $200,000 Consolation.

If that’s the case, Mercurial Lad will run top weight in that event and Canberra will also be represented by Super Star Bob (Matt Dale), Appoint Percy (Luke Pepper), and Melberra Star (Joseph-Jones).
